Information for Families
Hideaway Festival is very proud to welcome the whole family to our event, and we are sure you will have a truly amazing weekend, making some life long memories.
We do however have a few rules and guidelines to help keep your children safe, so they can enjoy the weekend as much as the adults.
Hideaway Festival welcomes children of all ages, we do however require all day visitors under 16 to be accompanied by a adult, and all camping guests under 18 must also be accompanied by an adult.
Adults may accompany up to three children to the festival.
Children under 15 must be accompanied at all times during the festival, children over 15 are allowed to explore the main arena by themselves, but will need to be with their responsible adult when entering or leaving the arena.
Any child under 15 found to be by themselves will be looked after at the Welfare tent, where our dedicated team will endeavour to contact their responsible adult.
Please advise your children that should they become lost or separated from their families, to make their way to the closet welfare tent. We would recommend when you first arrive on site to familiarise yourselves and your children to the locations of both the campsite and arena welfare tents.
Wristbands are available for children to wear, containing parent contact information, these can be obtained from the Welfare staff within the Welfare tents.
We would strongly recommend taking pictures of your children on your mobile phone in the morning of each day at the festival, so should they become lost, we have a recent picture to help us locate them on-site.

Suitability of Acts
Whilst we make huge efforts at Hideaway Festival to ensure the weekend remains family friendly, we would ask all parents, guardians and carers to consider that this is a live entertainment environment and there is a risk that some behaviour may not be suitable for younger children.
Our Family Campsite gives families with children under 16 the chance to enjoy the festival camping experience in a family friendly environment.
The Family Campsite entrance is located close to the main entrance, making it easier to walk to with the children in tow!
The campsite has dedicated, well lit toilet facilities and a baby change area.
Access to our Pamper area is also available, where you can find 'Posh Loos', Hot Showers & Washing Facilities. (These facilities have an additional cost)
