Hideaway Festival Dates 2020
Hideaway Festival will take place on the 14th, 15th & 16th August 2020, next to Hylands Park, Chelmsford, CM1 3PJ
Hideaway Festival welcomes children of all ages, children under 5 will require a FREE ticket, which can be ordered when purchasing your main tickets.
Children 5 - 15 years old will require a Childrens' ticket and will need to be accompanied by an adult over 18.
A maximum of 3 children accompanied by an adult.
All guests 16 and over require an adult ticket.
Our main campsite is open to all guests, we do however offer a separate Family Camping Area for those with younger children.
All guests over 16 will require a standard weekend camping ticket, all under 16s will require a childs' camping ticket.

Proof of Age
Hideaway Festival accept the following forms of ID for proof of age:
A Valid Passport
A Full driving license or Provisional License
A Ministry of Defence identity card
A National identity card issued by an EU member state
A 'PASS' proof of age card with a valid hologram
ALL documents must be originals and be in-date at the time of presentation.
The most important part of our festival is to provide and safe and fun environment for all of our guests, to help us deliver this, we will be operating a compulsory bag search policy upon entry to the site.
We would kindly request that our guests only bring the essentials to Hideaway Festival to aid with the bag search procedure upon entry.
We do not limit the size of bags allowed into the campsite area, however large bags will not be permitted into the main arena.
As a guide, we would recommend nothing larger than a standard shopping bag is used for carrying items into the arena.
All bag searches and subsequent entry into both campsite and arena areas, is at the discretion of the Hideaway Festival and/or any persons acting on their behalf.
What can we bring to the festival
Hideaway Festival have certain restrictions on items that can and cannot be allowed into the Campsite and Arena areas', we have put everything into an easy to use list below.
Please be aware that entry to both the Campsite and Arena area can be refused at the discretion of Hideaway Festival and/or persons acting on their behalf.
We would also remind all of our guests that NO Alcohol can be carried or consumed by anyone under the age of 18, in any area of the festival site.

Can we cook in the campsite
Cooking is allowed in our campsites, a list of permitted stoves can be found below.
We would ask you to be mindful and respectful to other campers, whilst cooking on your pitch.
If our staff feel there is any potential danger as a result of your cooking equipment or utensils, we will ask you to stop.
No cooking is allowed in the main arena by our guests.

Gas Stoves (Canisters must be under 2.7kg)
Can we smoke at the festival
Smoking is not allowed in any enclosed areas,, including tents, marquees and indoor stage areas.
E-cigarettes are subject to the same restrictions as standard cigarettes.
Please dispose of cigarette butts into the bins provided.
Can I Bring a Chair?
Yes, of course!
We will have dedicated areas for the use of chairs at the festival, these area will give a view of the main stage.
Motorhome & Caravans
Why not add a little luxury to your weekend at Hideaway Festival and bring you motorhome or caravan, we have a dedicated campsite area with electric hook-ups, water refill points and waste water disposal areas.
Motorhome / Caravan tickets can be purchased from our Tickets Page, individual occupants of the motorhome / caravan must all purchase tickets.
